摘要

The thermal modelling of windows is often carried outrnat a high level of precision whilst irradiance andrndaylight quantities are predicted using coarsernapproximations. This paper describes a new approachrnto predict the daylighting and thermal performance ofrnbuildings with shading devices using a hybrid dynamicrnlighting-thermal model. Irradiation and daylightingrnmodelling is carried out using the validated Radiancernlighting simulation program. The irradiancernpredictions coming from raytracing calculations onrnvirtual photocells provide input to a simplified thermalrnresponse model. The new technique is applied to thernproblem of evaluating shading devices in terms ofrnoverall energy and visual comfort performance forrnmultiple climate zones.
