This paper describes a new way to develop data processingrnprograms in describing data in a new representation, calledrnRugsOn, and embedding functions using an aspect weaver.rnAn important feature of RugsOn is an executable repre-rnsentation. Once RugsOn-related programs are loaded, thernrepresentation can be executed corresponding to the pro-rngrams. A program generator was developed to create Javarnand Ruby programs from RugsOn definitions. Moreover,rncode fragments for aspects are woven into the generatedrnprograms. In the author’s experience, flexibility was im-rnproved in the design and implementation of programs thatrnmanipulate graph structured data.
