There are serious problems for hospital which caused by the pathogenicity wastewater discharge under all possible accidents for the surrounding and the receiving water body.Based on the characteristics of the wastewater treatment system of the general hospital,we propose accident sewage wastewater emissions to non-normal operating conditions of the maximum possible as the buffer pool volume calculation methods,apply to a county Peo ple's Hospital sewage treatment station.The results indicate that the accident sewage buffer pool settings can gain good economic and social benefits,which provide a reference for the similar design.
