摘要

Photographic small angle light scattering (SALS) technique permits a measurement of the size of polymer spherulites. This technique is partly incorporated in a scanner which consists of a solid-state sensor and microprocessor based pattern processor. The scanner takes 2 its to complete the scan of a SALS pattern, rendering it suitable for on-line applications.rnThe scanner was used, off-line, to determine the spherulite size of polypropylene film samples produced at a series of extrusion temperatures and at various screw speeds.
