The meanings of the sixth science and technology revolution have become one of the focus issues.When it comes to talking about science and technology revolution,we have to mention the mechanical product manufacturing which is the basic productive activity and concerns the human basic necessities of life.The limitation of petrochemical and mineral resources of the world has not been able to meet the huge resource demand of the sixth science and tecinology revolution,and thus we must seek new technological approach to resolve this problem.The recycling and utilization of urban mining composed of wasted mechanical products can not only become the breakthrough to alleviate the bottleneck of resource shortage,but also lead to a series of technological changes.Remanufacturing can maximize the recycling of the hard resources and economic added value contained in the wasted mechanical products,which will bring obvious economic efficiency and environment efficiency.Therefore,remanufacturing is the best form and first choice for the resource recovery of wasted mechanical products,and should be one of the main goals in the sixth science and technology revolution.Advanced remanufacturing technology is the basic guarantee of making the quality ofremanufactured products at least as well as that of new products.Around the remanufacturing process,we have developed a majority of advanced remanufacturing technologies.
