摘要

This paper mainly elaborates failure and its causes about steel catenary riser(SCR) as well as preventive measures according to different failure modes.Marine engineering accident is very complex and serious because of its high-tech, high-risk characteristics, especially the complex environment of deep-water, as a result, the emergency treatment to deal with accident of subsea production systems will become a big challenge.So it is very necessary to take prevention in advance of subsea accident.First, we do analysis about failure modes of SCR and give some leading factors about them.Then,we do further study on the cause of formation about corrosion, fracture and fatigue damage of SCR as well as bring forward measures of emergency repair.Especially, a new prevention program in connection with fatigue failure of hanging end of SCR is found, and a new device that can slow down the fatigue of hanging end is designed,too.
