摘要

The necessity of development of program-algorithmic support on the basis of geographic information systems for monitoring the railway track and surrounding areas is substantiated. Describes the implementation of a stationary, on-Board and Central information-measuring systems for the formation of information warning of the emergency and pre-emergency condition of the track and technical structures. The article describes the formation of a database of defects in the linear section of the railway.
