Yangtze Estuary bifurcates on three-stages and enters sea with fourrnoutlets, where hydrodynamic and sandiment conditions are veryrncomplicated. Tai Lake Basin is situated in the southern wing ofrnYangtze Estuary, with more than 30 rivers connected to Yantze River.rnThe change of tidal characteristics at mouths in southern branches ofrnYangtze Estuary will affect the situation of flood control, drainagernand water environment of Tai Lake Basin. Based on 2-Drnhydrodynamic numerical model of Yangtze Estuary and the sea-levelrnrise stochastic dynamic analysis forecast models, this paper presentsrnthe effects on tidal characteristics in Yangtze Estuary due to YangtzernEstuary Comprehensive Regulation Projects and sea-level rise.
