In this work we show that the electrochemical properties of fullerene films depend very much on their structures. Reversible electrochemical transformation of the films in dimethylformamide+water mixtures containing potassium ions, results in an opener structure which allows easier reduction. These rearranged films show much larger efficiency in photoelectrochemical measurements. Furthermore, this structural change provides the possibility to hydrogenate electrochemically C_(60) in solid state. The resulted H_xC_(60) was shown to be an n-type semiconductor with very large photoefficiency toward the oxidation of ascorbic acid.
