摘要

We present an analysis of the spectral behavior of a stadium optical cavity under small perturbation of its effective index of refraction for the development of a resonant optical sensor. A dimensional reduction up to 1000 time with respect to conventional Mach-Zehnder interferometers without the need for an external light source is shown. Also, discontinuous behavior in the spectrum is shown to be very suitable for a trigger function application.
