Simulation Analysis of Equipment Battle Damage Test Layout Design

The battlefield damage test is difficult to carryout, and its efficiency is low. In order to improve the efficiency, a finite element model of prefabricated fragment warhead was established by using AUTODYN. The process of warhead explosion and fragment flying was simulated. The results were in agreement with the data collected from actual test, which verified the validity of the simulation method. The damage phase diagram was established by analyzing the law of fragment penetrating target. Then combined with the fragmentation rules, the phase diagram for test layout was established. The results show that numerical simulation method can accurately simulate the explosion process and the attack process to the equipment, thus greatly reduce the test cost. The established phase diagram for test layout can provide some references for the design and optimization of test layout.
