Abstract: We present an overview of potential applications ofhigh-T$-c$/ superconductors (HTSC) in the context ofhybrid optoelectronic technology. We briefly summarizethe main requirements for in- situ growth of epitaxialYBa$-2$/Cu$-3$/O$-7$MIN$delta$/ (YBCO) films onSrTiO$-3$/ and discuss the properties of YBCO layersgrown on Si and GaAs substrates with intermediate,conducting indium tin oxide buffer layers. We comparethe performance of the micro-bridge and the meandertype of HTSC bolometer and conclude with a discussionof several novel concepts and results that may becomerelevant for future hybrid optoelectronictechnology.!22
