In this presentation,Prof.Dionysiou will provide an overview on emerging aspects in the field of Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOPs) and Advanced Oxidation Nanotechnologies (AONs),primarily from work performed in his group and collaborators during the last few years.Some of these technologies are gaining tremendous popularity in fundamental studies as well as at industrial scale for the removal of contaminants of emerging concern,while some other of these technologies are actively tested at bench scale and pilot plant units.
