The prevalence of the diabetes mellitus type 2 is increasing all over the world and also in Romania. The aim of this study was to found a score based on several oxidative stress markers like malondialdehyde, ceruloplasmine and carbonylated protein and to implement a computer application for risk evaluation of diabetes mellitus type 2 complications. TOPSIS method was applied for ranking the alternatives according to the ideal solution. Based on the relative proximity coefficients provided by TOPSIS method scores for oxidative stress (Oscore) were assign with an algorithm. There was very good correlation between Oscore and GFR (r=-0.77, p<0.001), good correlation between Oscore and age (r=0.55, p0.00l), diabetes duration (r=0.74, p0.00l), urea (r=0.58, p0.00l), uric acid (r=0.60, p0.00l), creatinine (r=0.57, p<0.001), microalbuminuria (r=0.62, p<0.001). From linear regression results Oscore was correlated with glomerural filtration rate, duration of diabetes, and glycosylated hemoglobin Ale (p0.00l). Oscore has entered in multivariate linear regression as significant for prediction of glomerural filtration rate and microalbuminuria. Software was made for risk assessment of abnormal values for glomerural filtration rate and for microalbuminuria. In conclusion our solution was appropriate for the assignment of an oxidative stress score based on several oxidative stress markers, but it cannot be used only for one patient, it can be used according to several data observed on others patients.
