摘要

In today's educational circle, action research is a reflective process that allow inquiry and discussions involving collaborative activity among colleagues searching for ways to improve instructions or students achievement. Teaching Physics is very challenging in National Secondary School. Physics is a subject where a students needs to know facts, relate the facts to a relevant concept and apply the concept which is too difficult for the group that has very weak Maths and Science basic. To accommodate the ability of the students and the needs in Physics teaching and learning, an action research is design to a group of students in order to help them achieving better in Malaysian Certificate Educations. So the research is focussed towards making the students do repeatedly on one specific formatted exercise that use only observations and graphical skills. Anyway this formatted skills carries good marks as well as it is a very useful skills in writing an experiment report. In science educations, the most difficult part is to make students understand the concept or how to explain scientifically a phenomena. That is why drill and practice teaching method is chosen. It is proven that when ones doing thing repeatedly again and again, they will remember the process even though they do not really understand why.
