A principle of creation of a measurement system channel realized in up-to-date high-precision Gyroscopic Measurers of Angular Velocity Vector (GMAVV) on the base of a floating gyro unit is described. Analysis of causes of a measurement channel's instrumental errors is carried out. The method of improvement of GMA W Q-factor by widening a measurement range and decrease of pulse value is explained. A principle of creation of a double-count measurement channel is suggested. Logic of operation and interaction of measurement ranges of high-order and low-order lines of a measurement channel is described. Characteristics of a new GMA W built on a double-count system and characteristics of up-to-date GMA VVs are compared.
