The power gyroscopic complexes (PGC), which used in a structure of actuators of attitude control systems for long-duration maneuverable satellites, are compared on basic operating performances. For example, the satellites of observations intended for remote sensing of the Earth such as "Resource - DK" and "Arkon" or astrophysical satellites such as "Spektr" and "Gamma" are applied to this class of satellites. The basic attention is given to comparative analysis of the paired two-degree-of-freedom, the two-degree-of-freedom and the single-degree-of-freedom control moment gyroscopes, which find the operational use in attitude control systems of high maneuverable satellites. Is exhibited, that the most important for rational selection of the construction scheme of gyroscopic actuators looks like area of values of an angular momentum demanded for provision of a given satellite attitude and also, that the scheme on the basis of single-degree-of-freedom gyroscopes allow most flexibly to take into account the difference in dynamic demands to an attitude system and in a series of cases have the best operating performances, than its broad application in the satellite attitude control systems is determined.
