"The only way to assert ourselves is through improved service. The Customers are Gods". (Jeff Bezos, founder of the Internet Bookstore Amazon said.) The customer himself puts the demands and is the active market designer. A lot of management methods neglect the customer's point of view. The approach of value analysis and value management is different, however. It will always start from the customer's requirements, by which it will focus on the customer who is the real enterprise ruler. Within the task of process improvement, the Beumer Company has decided for subject approach and has, at the same time, consciously integrated the client into that process. Focussing the customer in lieu of focussing the processes - this is what the real credo of the project task is. By means of the methodical approach of the value analysis and the neutral project support by Krehl & Partner, it was not only feasible to minimize the process costs but also to achieve significant process efficiency in the sense of the customers' satisfaction within the shortest time possible. Once more the interdisciplinary project work proved to be one of the factors of success of the project, since in addition to the positive synergy effects, simultaneous processing of found measures could be performed. In summary, the aim of the project to considerably reduce costs by improving the processes during the installation and commissioning was not only achieved, but also exceeded.
