Fundamental Strategy of Particulate Design Technology for Development of Advanced Raw Material and the Trial-Products

摘要

The particulate design technology (PDT), as a basic and core technology of powder processes in all types of industrial field, is very important to create new and novel functional materials. The Korea Association of Powder Process Industry and Engineering (KAPPIE) has been helping medium and small enterprises (MDEs) in their PDT application efforts to improve their powder processes to meet Korea's Low Carbon Green Growth national economic plan. Exemplary activities are presented here to discuss further technology development potential. Firstly, we present a supporting strategy, by which MDEs can utilize delicate PDT effectively, by illustrating development achievement cases of trial products. Secondly, future policy directions of cooperation between public institutions and private industry are listed up to strengthen Korean Government's policy goal of revitalization of advanced raw materials and products industry including the trial of application to the bio-products based on traditional Korean medicine and healthy food.
