The effects of Zn, B, Mn, Mo and Mg five elements on fertilizer utilized coefficient of N, P and K were studied by using the oxide or the hydrated oxide of five elements as experimental materials in maize, under the circumstance of excluding other mineral element disturbance, through mensurating N, P and K content in the mature plant of maize. The results showed that the application of ZnO 4.2 kg ha~(-1), H_3BO_33.3 kg ha~(-1), MnO_213.3 kg ha~(-1), H_2MoO_4 333.3 g ha~(-1) and MgO 66.7 kg ha~(-1), increased N-fertilizer utilized coefficient by 35.84%, 26.52%, 22.26%, 23.35% and 27.61% respectively, and increased K-fertilizer utilized coefficient by 141.07%, 131.07%, 144.60%, 70.31% and 118.74% compared with the control of only applied N, P and K respectively. The application of B, Mo and Mg increased P-fertilizer utilized coefficient by 36.36%, 26.52% and 18.03% respectively. All of above-mentioned differences reached very significant level (P<0.01). Mn application did not affect significantly P-fertilizer utilized coefficient (P>0.50). This study educed the conclusion of Zn-P connection was that Zn inhibited P uptake and decrease P-fertilizer utilized coefficient very significantly (P<0.01) under the circumstance of not using ZnSO_4 as Zn-fertilizer and excluding S disturbance in maize.
