摘要

A method based on digital shearography is desc ribed for nondestructive flaw detection. Vibration excitation is imposed on the object whose deforamtion is continuously recorded with a video camera. Sequential image-substraction of two video frames is carried out on a pixel-by-pixel basis. The current image-difference is compared with the existing image-difference, storing into computer memory only the higher value of the two. With higher deformation rate at the defective area than the non-defective area, white patches are displayed on the computer monitor at regions where defects are located.
