摘要

A finite element model, which is widely used for predicting dynamic behavior of a structure, has got its own limitations because of assumptions involved in its development. This model accordingly needs to be updated or corrected based on experimental test data before using it for dynamic design. In the present work a finite element model of a complex F-shape structure is updated in the light of experimental modal test data by using direct and iterative methods.
