Very high purity water is used for both Heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) steam/water cycle make-up and injection to gas turbvines for NOx control. Failure to maintain purity results in deposition and corrosion. Factors affecting water treatment plant specification, design, performance and reliability will be discussed.
