摘要

In this paper, an active fault-tolerant control methodology is realized for the ship propulsion system. A complete Fault Detection and Isolation strategy is described after a brief description of the overall ship propulsion system and fault scenarios, which allows perfect isolation of four possible faults proposed in the benchmark. The FDI methods vary from case to case according to different types of fault and subsystem structures. The information provided by the FDI is then used to alarm supervisor of fault occurrence and develop a re- configuration control structure based on the reference signal offset, so as to preserve pre- specified performance also in presence of faulty situation. Besides, the system at the very moment of recovery from fault scenarios is also under study. Simulations on the model illustrate the performance of the active fault-tolerant system including both FDI and re-configuration sections for some selected scenarios.
