A first generation control mode for controlling generation voltages of the synchronous generators 20a and 20b by causing the number-of-revolutions control means to regulate the numbers of revolutions of the motors 10a and 10b, respectively, and a second power generation control mode for controlling the generation voltages of the synchronous generators 20a and 20b only by causing the excitation regulators 62a and 62b to regulate the excitation voltages and/or the excitation currents, respectively are executed to be linked with each other.
