Much research about travel time estimation mainly focuses on basic segments and intersections, and less on bus stops. In this paper, link resistance function near a bus stop under mix traffic conditions was established. To overcome the shortcoming of numerous estimated parameters in the traditional models, the proposed model was transformed to a nonlinear regression model. Model parameters were estimated by SPSS statistics software. The model was calibrated and validated using the field data in Beijing. Numerical results show that bus stream, car stream and bicycle stream have all significant effects on the link resistance function. And link travel time increases with increasing mixed traffic stream. The study indicates that the proposed model is suitable to estimate link resistance function near a bus stop under heterogeneous flow conditions.
