The paper contributes to key factors and practices in dealing with creep and fatigue of pipe line systems. These need to shift from the traditional or rigid approach towards a partnering agreement between user and engineering service supplier. Interesting aspects are addressed regarding the pipe stress analysis and site engineering activities needed to facilitate changes or modifications that may lead to optimal solutions.
