摘要

This paper will outline the recent improvements to the EMS-95 model including those improvements made as part of OTAG. The three major focus areas include modeling efficiency improvements, data reporting and visualization, and the creation of a PAMS to EMS-95 link for VOC/NOX ratio comparisons and missing species analysis. Modeling efficiency improvements include modifications to the area and mobile processors to decrease disk usage and improve processing speed. Data reporting and visualization enhancements include new modules which diagnose inventory problems and allow more open access to the inventory from outside groups. Finally, an extensive discussion of the new PAMS to EMS-95 link which will allow EMS-95 users to compare emissions inventories to monitoring data so that problems with the inventory can be easily identified .
