The clarification of cane juice by sulphitation process is done with use of milk of lime and sulphur dioxide gas as agents. The most important unit for clarification in sulphitation process is Juice Sulphitor. We can say juice sulphitor is the heart of the clarification of Juice. Working efficiency and other results in boiling house mainly depends upon the efficiency of the juice sulphitor unit. In this paper author has given a new design i.e. modification in design in sparger type juice sulphitor.
