At present the problem of cleaning the space near to the Earth from the artificial origination debris is of increasing importance. The authors of the report share the opinion of specialists that the main direction of solving the problem is the prevention of clogging the near space during the injection of spacecraft into the orbit by the modern launch vehicles. In the Yuzhnoye launch vehicles which are in operation and being modernized, the measures are taken to minimize (up to the complete exclusion) clogging the space. At the same time, in authors' opinion, it is necessary to give an attention to the investigations concerning the creation of spacecraft for destroying the existing objects of debris. These investigations are intended to contribute greatly to the prevention of the "cascade effect of debris". The "cascade effect of debris" consists in the fact that the number of debris formed as result of the unexpected collisions increases faster than it is cleaned by the atmospheric braking. Presented in the proposed report are the versions of ways to remove the debris by means of influence on them from the board of spacecraft - "cleaners". It is rational to apply the "cleaners" in the following cases: 1. to remove from the orbit the objects of debris which are most dangerous in terms of the possible fragmentation into large number of fragments increasing the probability of occurrence of "cascade effect"; 2. to clean the trajectory of the manned stations or the very valuable spacecraft, for example, during the travel of "cleaners" in front of the object to be protected.
