The analytic approach proposed by N. Divine for meteoroid flux calculation has been applied to develop a tool providing flux and spatial density data resulting from space debris. The tool is based on simple structured input data describing the size distribution as well as the distributions of orbital elements of single population phases (e.g. catalogued objects, paint flakes) or objects on particular classes of orbits such as GTO. The input data may either be provided as discrete (tabled) distribution data or by means of functional forms. The tool combines the advantages of deterministic approaches, e.g. the MASTER Analyst application (high resolution flux data), with the advantages of analytical approaches (simplicity, CPU time efficiency). Shortcomings of the Divine approach, e.g. the assumption of symmetric population distribution, have been identified and patched. In the course of the upgrade of ESA's Meteoroid and Space Debris Terrestrial Environment Reference model (MASTER) the kernel of the new tool has been established as the so called MASTER 'Standard Application' replacing the former MASTER 'Engineering Application'. This paper presents the implementation philosophy of the tool. A discussion of the model capabilities is followed by a comprehensive comparison to the MASTER Analyst application. Finally, a number of promising applications and extensions offered by the simple structure and CPU time efficiency of the tool is addressed by this paper.
