DNDA-57 plasticizer is a mixture of three methylendinitramine including 2,4-dinitro-2,4-diazapentane (or DNDA-5), the 2,4-dinitro-2,4diazahexane (or DNDA-6) and the 3,5-dinitro-3,5-diazaheptane (or DNDA-7). In general all methods for synthesis of DNDA-57 plasticizer are consisting of condensation reaction between methyl and ethylnitamine with formaldehyde in acidic medium and low temperatures. Since in production of DNDA-6 and DNDA-7 binary mixtures of ethylnitamine with DNDA-6 and DNDA-7 exist in reactor and crude product, solid-liquid equilibria (SLE) data for abovementioned binary mixture are important in industrial production of these products. Binary phase diagrams for two mixtures of ethylnitramine (1)+2,4-dinitro2,4-diazahexane (2) (eutectic temperature TE=278.3 K, eutectic composition x1=0.612) and ethylnitramine (1)+3,5-dinitro-3,5-diazaheptane (2) (eutectic temperature TE=280.3 K, eutectic composition x1=0.720) were studied using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). For each two systems simple eutectic behaviors were observed. The eutectic compositions were also determined using Gray's model and the fractional transformation method.
