摘要

The impact compression test of coal under different strain rate was carried out by Split-Hopkinson Pressure Bar of 75 mm in diameter.The dynamic compressive strength and elastic modulus of the coal, and the relationship between them and strain rate has been studied.The experimental result show that, the whole deformation process of coal includes four stages basically: compaction stage, elastic deformation stage, plastic stage and destruction stage;Coal has good linear elastic deformation characteristics before peak stress;The dynamic compressive strength and peak strain of coal depend on strain rate obviously, which both increased with the strain rate exponentially.
