摘要

This paper briefly introduces the basic concepts of the intelligent technologies for fault diagnosis, including expert system, artificial neural network, fuzzy theory, genetic algorithm and so on, and illustrates the applications of corresponding methods for power system fault diagnosis. Their features and disadvantages are also discussed for further research and development.
