The problem of the catvitating flow past circular rotating cascades of arbitrary shaped hydrofoils is solved by the linear mehtods of the ideal fluid jet theory.Based on the solutions obtained,a model of the cavitating flow of a viscous incompressible fluid in circular rotating cascades is propsoed.The model is based on the theory of strong interaction between the potential flow and hte variable density turbulent detached cavitation layer.The capabilities of the model re exemplified by calculating the cavitation performance of an impeller.
