摘要

The one-to-one corresponding relationship between elements of traffic volumes and their choice probabilities is illustrated in analytical expressions. The traffic assignment problem becomes how to determine the choice probability of node, link and path. Such an element choice probability is further derived by the introduction of nodal or link weights, and can be easily implemented in the Dial's assignment procedure. The employment of choice probability is of great benefit to the analysis of trips passing through a particular set of nodes or links given the path-splitting assumptions inherent in the stochastic assignment.
