摘要

A miniaturised DNA extraction and separation device has been microfabricated using PDMS and glass. The device uses reverse electroporation to extract plasmid DNA from bacterial cells and SPLITT (split flow-thin cell flow fractionation) to separate the extracted DNA from the cell sample. The chip has been termed a Poration-SPLITT (PS) device.
