Conversion of jack-up units from drilling rigs to production platforms will demand survival in severe weather conditions for longer periods of time. In turn, this has ignited interest in investigating jack-up behaviour, particularly soil-structure interaction and load sharing among the spudcan footings. As a result, this paper presents research conducted at the University of Western Australia.
