The State of Utah’s Department of Natural Resourcesrnfunded two projects in Salt Lake City to demonstrate thernfeasibility of the Continuous Commissioningrn? (CC ?)1rnprocess. The two sites selected were a modern staternbuilding, the Matheson Courthouse [1], and a very oldrnbuilding, the South City campus of Salt Lake CommunityrnCollege. This paper describes the measures and savingsrnresults from the CCrn? process at the Community College.rnThe energy savings amounted to 15% of the annual utilityrnbill. While most of the savings were attributed to CC, partrnwas attributed to the on-site facility operators whornimplemented measures over and above those recommendedrnby the CC engineers. It was an exciting team effort and arngood example of the savings that can be achieved by CCrnengineers working closely with a good facility operationsrnstaff.
