摘要

作为一个相对独立完整的体系,英语教育在我国的社会教育,民族文化建设,及世界文化的发展中都起到至关重要的作用;同时,目前我国的英语教育面临众多的问题也要求对教育教学体系进行重大改革。由于历史和现实的原因,考试在我国英语教育系统中起着至关重要的作用。因此,对于考试全面、客观、深入的认识有助于我们改革中的正确决策。
  本文从哲学本体论层面入手,通过对语言测试学的分析对比,对教学面临的问题及教学改革进行了系统、深入地探讨。首先,本文提出了英语测试本体层面研究的主要问题既涉及英语语言测试的理论基础、目的、性质,同时也涉及宏观方法论层面。通过对西方语言测试及中国语言测试发展的回顾和对比,本文分析了中西语言测试在理论基础,测试的重点,测试的地位等方面的异同点。据此,本文从语言测试的角度指出了我国英语教学存在的问题,并进行了本体溯源。在此基础上,本文对我国语言测试体系的理论构建及实际教学提出系统改革的建议。
  全文共分五章。第一章引言,简要介绍英语教育的社会定位及它与语言测试的关系。第二章对本体论的概念进行讨论,并引出语言测试的本体核心问题。第三章对中西语言测试的发展进行了回顾和对比。第四章从语言测试的角度指出我国英语教育在目的,内容及方法层面存在的问题并指出问题存在的原因。第五章从理论构建及教学实践两个方面对英语教育改革进行讨论。
