Churches are a meeting place for like minded people to gather, worship, and develop spiritually as well as personally. Over the years, there has been a drop in weekly adult church attendance. The percentage of adults who have not attended any religious event at a church for six months or more is growing.;The goal of this project is to develop a guide for church congregations, implementing a membership-focused program. Many factors can determine a person's level of participation within a church community. Studies show referral is the most effective method for bringing people into the church. Church leaders who focus on member relations build confidence and support for the church.;Application of quality principles has positively benefited a variety of institutions. The voice of the customer guide can be a tool for churches interested in listening to their customers and enhancing their ministry to better serve the people.
