摘要

Organizations have been implementing quality/continuous improvement programs to improve their processes and products. Not all have been successfully with the various programs for various of reasons. The purpose of this study was to investigate what metrics organizations acquired by private equity firms are using to improve their processes and products. The 100 participants used in this study were from Zoomerang panelists who are the leaders of the quality/continuous improvement in the organizations acquired by private equity firms. The findings identify that supplier criteria, information, and analysis are the main factors that these organizations focus on to improve their quality. The data also revealed the organization's size is a determinant for the criteria and factors that are perceived as critical for their quality/continuous improvement programs.
