摘要

Complex natural resonance extraction is performed using the rational function fit method. The forced response is represented by an entire function. The natural response is represented by a residue series. A new method of aspect-dependent non-cooperative target identification is introduced. It uses the same rational function model as that used in complex natural resonance extraction. The method is evaluated using radar cross section measurement of three aircraft models. The method is found to be able to discriminate down to a signal to noise ratio of 15 decibels. The prediction-correlation method of target identification is also reviewed.
