In order to create a more efficient, cohesive, and safe environment for both staff and patients, HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital Breese implemented a TeamSTEPPSRTM program for all their staff. • The TeamSTEPPS RTM Teamwork Attitudes Questionnaire (T-TAQ) was utilized both pre-and post-intervention.;• Focused intervention utilized the following TeamSTEPPS RTM tools: Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation (SBAR), Concerning, Uncomfortable, and Safety Issue (CUS), and Debriefing.;• Each tool was introduced to staff. The tools were explained in detail along with implementing an interactive activity related to the specific tool. The SBAR sessions were combined with the introduction to TeamSTEPPSRTM, and the CUS and Debriefing tools were presented together at a second set of sessions.;• The goal was to break barriers between staff members and create a relational bond between others in the organization in order to provide the highest quality and safety for patient care.;• The sessions refined the use of the tools for staff, as many felt SBAR, CUS, and Debrief tools were already subconsciously utilized within the workplace.;• From the post-survey data collection, staff showed an appreciation for the TeamSTEPPSRTM SBAR, CUS, and Debrief tools.
