Advances in the field of radiation measurement and dosimetry have, in recent years, seen the commercial debut of inexpensive and highly reliable systems based on electron paramagnetic resonance. One such system is manufactured by Bruker and is owned and operated by the Radiation Laboratory at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. The objective of this thesis was to investigate the function and properties of that dosimetry system. The investigation included measurement reproducibility, measurement accuracy and an analysis of dosimeter stability. A traceable calibration was performed and a statistical analysis of the measurement uncertainties was completed.
