For any successful organization, efficient resource management is critical. The performance of employees has a significant impact on the quality of the final product, and also on the efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing line. To improve the performance of the employees, training is one of the most common methodologies used. Traditional classroom training is the most used method. However, it would be much less efficient when the number of employees is large. Without real-time tracking of training completion as well as performance strategic decisions such as operator allocation are cumbersome. Therefore, a modern information system for operator skills administration is required.;This thesis proposes an integrated system for operator skill management in a high-end server manufacturing environment. This system includes three functions: on-demand training, automated certifications management, and real-time performance tracking. Moreover, the system can generate a performance based allocation of operators to task to fulfill a given demand.
