The major drivers and the operations requirements for the development of new strategic bombers were analyzed according to the discuss procedure of America and Russia. Although the new strategic bombers of America and Russia both adopt a tall ess conifguration for subsonic operation and would be a multipurpose weapon platform, they have different considerations for their future operations, with America’s new bomber suitable for network centric warfare whereas Russia’s new bomber depend heavily on its stealthy.
