Accordingly, a variety of hallmarks of cancer cells, including endless rnproliferation, insensitivity to anti-growth signals, impaired apoptosis, are related to mitochondrial dysfunctions. This paper reviews the rnlatest advances of targeting mitochondria for cancer therapy, focusing on drugs targeting the mitochondria and the mode of action, as well rnas potential clinical applications, to demonstrate prospects of cancer treatment.
