The present invention relates to a novel near-infrared fluorescent probe that targets mitochondria and a composition for diagnosing and treating tumors including the same, and more particularly, through the control of the hydrophobicity of the fluorescent core of silicon-rhodamine, an NIR fluorescent substance. It relates to a novel near-infrared fluorescent probe (SiR-Mito11) prepared and a composition for diagnosing and treating tumors comprising the same as an active ingredient. SiR-Mito11, a near-infrared fluorescent probe of the present invention, can selectively stain only mitochondria of tumor cells, and SiR-Mito11 accumulated specifically in tumor cells can induce apoptosis by activating apoptosis proteins, It can be usefully used as a pharmaceutical composition for both diagnosis and treatment of various tumors including brain tumors.
