There are huge construction difficulties, because the velarium engineering is located on the 9th floor of the podium building above the cortile patio and conditions for erecting full scaffold are not available on the project site. The steel beam is horizontally translated through rail onto the scaffold installation platform on the project site and the triangular support of steel structure under the steel beam is installed to form a single cable truss. Pre-arching of steel beam and pretension of cable are completed, and then they are moved to the hoisting position. The whole steel beam is lifted after being placed at the correct position; at last, the extruded aluminum products of curtain wall and glass are installed.
